Razer Naga V3 Pro: when one mouse tries to cover every genre
The Naga V3 Pro adds three control layouts and a revised scroll wheel, but the familiar Naga shape remains the first buying decision.
The short version
The three side plates are useful if you genuinely move between games that need very different controls. They do not turn the Naga into three different mouse shapes. Fit, button density and whether you will maintain several profiles matter more than the maximum button count.

What changed
Razer announced the Naga V3 Pro on 11 August as the successor to its modular MMO mouse. It keeps the familiar right-handed Naga shape while adding revised two, six and twelve-button side plates, quick-access edge buttons, a lockable ring-finger button and a second-generation HyperScroll tilt wheel.
What is confirmed
- Razer says the three magnetic side plates support up to 23 programmable buttons and are intended for MMO, MOBA, battle royale, FPS and everyday layouts.
- The official product page lists HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth and wired use, with manufacturer battery claims of up to 155 hours on HyperSpeed or 280 hours on Bluetooth under standard test conditions.
- Razer's United States and Australian stores showed the mouse for direct sale when checked on 23 August, with regional pricing and stock differing; Razer lists up to a two-year warranty.
Why it matters to a buyer
This is a credible one-mouse route for someone who already suits the Naga shape and regularly changes control schemes. The upgrade is less convincing for a buyer who stays in one genre, uses only a couple of side buttons or wants a lighter FPS-first shape.
The trade-off
Swappable controls solve button layout, not physical fit. The larger ergonomic body, dense controls and profile setup remain part of the experience, while compatible wireless-charging accessories cost extra.
