Privacy and saved results

Use the finders without an account.

The recommendation experience does not require a name, email address or sign-in. Accounts are optional and exist for people who want saved setup results available on more than one device.

Finder answers and local saves

Quiz answers calculate the current result. Without an account, saved recommendations, shortlists and preference briefs remain in the browser local storage on that device.

Optional account sync

Netlify Identity handles email, password and optional Google sign-in. Signed-in recommendations can be stored through Netlify Blobs under the account identifier.

Shared setup links

A random share ID opens a read-only product snapshot. It excludes names, emails, account IDs and sign-in state. Anyone with the link or QR code can view it, and new links expire after 90 days.

Anonymous measurement

Optional PostHog and Google Analytics receive only minimized, named actions after consent. Automatic capture, replay, person profiles, advertising signals, product IDs, URLs, quiz answers and account details are excluded.
